Tequila Sunrise is a shot drink

long, ideal to drink in the afternoon.

Its name (sunrise) comes from the effect that the ingredients achieve when mixed.

Composition of the Tequila Sunrise cocktail

• 50 cc of tequila.

• 100 cc of orange juice

• 25 cc of grenadine

• ½ lemon wedge

• 1 cherry

Preparation of the Tequila Sunrise cocktail

To make it, mix the tequila, the orange juice and the crushed ice in a shaker. Strain it over a tall glass and add the ice cubes until the glass is almost full. Pour the grenadine quickly, so that it falls to the bottom of the glass and rises slowly (thus we will achieve that sunrise effect). Garnish with the lemon wedge, the icing and a straw to stir.
